The cost of ABA therapy is driven almost entirely by one number: how many hours a week your child needs. That number comes out of the assessment, not out of a price list, which is why no honest centre can quote you a final figure over the phone.
What a centre can tell you before you commit is the assessment fee, the session rate, what is included, and how the hours recommendation is arrived at. Most centres in Dhaka publish none of it.

What is included at no extra charge
A low session rate means very little if the things that make therapy work are billed separately. These are all part of our fee.
- The written programme plan and all goal setting
- Parent coaching sessions
- Session-by-session data and progress charts
- Formal progress reviews with the supervising analyst
- Liaison with your child’s school or a prospective school
- Written reports when a school or doctor needs one
What decides how many hours
- Age
- Younger children in early intervention generally need more hours, because the window is more valuable and there is more to build.
- Goals
- Building language from a very low baseline takes more hours than sharpening classroom behaviour in an otherwise capable child.
- Setting
- Centre-based therapy, in-school support, or a mix — each has a different cost per week.
- Progress
- Hours are reviewed as your child improves. A programme that only ever grows is a business model, not a clinical plan.

Cost depends almost entirely on the number of hours a child needs each week, which is why a single headline price is misleading. The assessment produces an hours recommendation, and the monthly cost follows from that. We set out the assessment fee and session rate before you commit to anything.
Partly because individual programmes genuinely vary, and partly because it is commercially easier not to. We think a parent comparing centres deserves enough information to compare properly, which is why this page exists.
Not automatically, but ask what you are paying for. A lower hourly rate delivered by an uncertified assistant with no clinical supervision is not the same service at a lower price — it is a different service. The supervision question is the one that separates them.
Not at Tender Twig. Parent coaching, the written programme, progress data, formal reviews and school liaison are all part of the fee. If another centre quotes a low session rate, check which of these are extras.
Talk to us. Circumstances vary and we would rather have the conversation than lose a child who needs support. It is worth asking rather than assuming the answer is no.
Most children work with us for one to three years with hours reducing over time. Exit criteria are agreed at the start, so you know from day one what finishing looks like rather than facing an open-ended commitment.
