The Tender Twig ABA therapy team at the Gulshan centre in Dhaka
Certified & Supervised

The People Who Would Work With Your Child

Every therapist named, every credential shown, and one supervisor accountable for every programme.

Every therapist at Tender Twig holds International Behavior Technician (IBT) certification and works under the supervision of an International Behavior Analyst (IBA). No session is delivered by an uncertified assistant, and no programme is designed by anyone other than the supervising analyst.

Those two acronyms carry the whole weight of the decision you are making, so they are worth spelling out. An IBT is the therapist in the room with your child — trained and certified to deliver the programme, run the teaching procedures and record the data. An IBA is the senior clinician who assesses your child, writes the programme, reads the data every week and decides what changes.

Supervision is the part that matters. It means clinical decisions about your child are made by a qualified analyst rather than improvised by whoever is on shift. When you are comparing centres in Dhaka, ask each one who supervises your child’s programme and how often that person reviews it. The quality of the answer tells you most of what you need to know.

How We Work

What supervision actually looks like week to week

  • 01The supervising IBA completes your child’s initial assessment personally and writes the programme.
  • 02Session data is reviewed weekly, not at the end of a term.
  • 03When a goal stops moving, the analyst changes the teaching approach and tells you what changed and why.
  • 04Therapists receive regular observation and feedback on their delivery, not just on their paperwork.
  • 05Formal progress reviews with parents happen every three months, with the data in front of you.
